In November 2013 I felt God inspired me to start writing poetry, and I never want to stop. In January 2014 I felt called to share that poetry, so created this blog, which then began to also feature more varied creative writing.

If the blog glorifies God, it was worth writing; if the content means something to anyone else, it was worth sharing.

The blog, and its contents are constantly developing – all comments are very welcome.

In my first year, there was generally a piece of my own original writing every day Monday to Saturday, usually poetry. Thursdays featured verses from the bible, and on Fridays a haiku dedicated to a charity. Otherwise you will find worship music, videos, quotations and the work of well known poets mixed in with my own work.

The second year was a struggle with less than a quarter of the number of posts compared to year 1. Year 3 saw a bit of a bounce back.

2017 is now the fourth year of Faith Unlocked and I am trying once again, with God’s help and for His glory, to find the voice He has given me and the purpose to which it is directed.

You can read a bit more about what interest me here.

I hope you enjoy reading my blog! God bless you!

  9. It took me a while to get on your page and start reading some of your stuff due to me getting so wrapped up in my own writing. You work is inspirational and it brings me so much joy to see God giving the gift and capacity to bring his name to light and to the world through writing about God and his wonderful love for us. Thank you for your continued support and follow of my own personal work, let us build each other up in his name, to continue to bring glory to his name. I pray that we will both continue in this not so more people can simply see what our hands are doing, but continue to let God speak into our lives and any lives he plans to speak to through the work he’s allowed us to do.

  10. Thanks a lot for liking my recent posts and following my blog. Your poetry is so inspiring and urges us to have faith in Him even in our darkest phase. I would love to read more and more posts by you. Regards

  11. Thank you for liking my latest post on http://www.gracedtolive.com, When Five Loaves And Two Fish Feed A Crowd. I also thank you for using the gift of words God has given you through writing poetry. May your words reach around the globe and touch many lives in Jesus’ name. Blessings, Nina

  12. Thanks for following GodHotSpot.wordpress.com. God’s love sent Jesus Christ to die to save to set free and cover believers with Jesus Blood as testimony of victory in Christ Jesus. So Jesus protects lives hidden in Christ with God with confidence in Jesus, Name Above all Names. God is Good all the time and God bless you.

  13. Wow! I love poetry too 🙂 especially Helen Steiner Rice.. But then again, I don’t know many Christian poets! So looking forward to seeing some more!

  14. I wanted to stop by to thank you for the many “likes” you have given me on my blog. I appreciate you taking the time to stop by and for the encouragement it gives me. You are a blessing. Thanks again.

  15. I love your tag line – worth writing if it glorifies God , worth sharing if it means something to anyone else indeed. Such a good reminder to keep in mind in my own writing,

  16. Your blog looks like the twin to ours! Which really excites us for some reason. And it’s so inspired. May God continue to bless your efforts. I especially like the inspiring worship. All the songs are so beautiful.

  17. Thank you for visiting! Good luck to you in this work, and God bless those who respond!
