Temple of the Lord

Holy Tabernacle

Curtains of linen
Blue, purple and scarlet yarn
Holy Tabernacle
Clothed in commissioned splendour
Constructed with reverence

Rebuild the Temple

Rebuild the temple
From firm base-rock foundation
Rise again in Christ

written in response to today’s daily prompt at The Daily Post

Our High Priest and King

Purest silver and gold
Make up the crown
Set upon the precious head
Of the great High Priest
Whose royal blood
Sprung from the branch of Jesse
Who shall branch out
And build his church
The Temple of the Lord
Clothed in majesty
Reigning for eternity
As King upon His throne
