Dare to Dream

Dare to dream
I dream of difference
Dare to be the difference
Dream of daring
Dream of making a difference

Dare to be different
Dream of diversity
Daring to differentiate
Declare diversity’s beauty
Daring to make a difference

I dream diverse dreams
Where is Joseph?
Where is Daniel?
Called to dream
Called to be different
Called
To make a difference
Give me a dream today

  1. Thanks so much setting before us this exquisite poetic challenge. As i read your inspiring lines two phrases came to mind: a line from Langston Hughes: “I dream a world…” and words from Genesis in reference to Joseph: “Behold, the dreamer.” I was deeply touched by your closing line uttered as a prayer: “Give me a dream today.” Thank you for posting this.
