Divine Adoption

My identity is in Christ.
Not by vain proclamation,
Nor by abstract assumption;
But by divine adoption
Through sacrificial salvation;
By the grace of a loving Father,
By the obedience of His almighty Son:
Now and for eternity,
I am a child of God

  1. So late to to the reading – apologies. Have been off-grid in the Adirondacks woods since Wednesday. But I’m back with coffee in hand.
    This is a beautiful statement of faith. So well written, thoughtfully said.

  2. So glad you joined us here at dVerse. I hope you will get around to reading and commenting and getting to know other folks. This is a very clear and lovely self-portrait. Strong and sure in its depth.
