You Reached Down to Us

Your arm was not too short
For you to reach down to us
Your ear was never dull to hear
Though our sin drowned us out
Our iniquities separated us
From You O Lord our God
Our faces shamefully hidden
Our hands stained with blood
Yet your love was so great
That you gave us Your only Son
To take all our wrongdoing
To bear our pain and suffering
And put them all to death
In victory on that cross
Bleeding for our eternal lives
Love’s perfect holy sacrifice
He held His hand down to us
To draw us in by grace
That all who believe in Him
May glory in Your Name
