To mark day from night,

Spirit floating over the ether;
Water chosen to mark believers,
Baptise us, ever seal us.
Life.
Breath into life;
Yet in the face of strife.
We chose cheap death,
Costing the greatest price.
Blood.
Innocent blood
For us graciously shed,
To make pure and good,
Safe from damning flood.
Spirit.

Flaming life’s furnace lit
In my heart, deep within it,
To serve as my God wills it.
